Spaghetti Marshmallow — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information the Spaghetti Marshmallow game (“the Game”, “we”, “us”) collects and how it is used. Spaghetti Marshmallow is a physics puzzle game available on the web and as a mobile app. We designed it to collect as little information as possible.

Information we collect

• An anonymous player identifier. When you play, the Game generates a random identifier and stores it on your device. This ID is not linked to your name, email, phone number, or any real-world identity, and it is not an advertising identifier. It exists only so we can save your progress to our server and associate any levels you choose to create.
• Gameplay progress. The highest level you have reached, so your progress can be backed up and synced across your devices.
• Levels you create and choose to save or share. If you use the level creator and choose to save or share a level, that level’s data and the name you give it are stored on our server and made available to anyone who has its share code.

Information we do not collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, or photos.
• We do not use or collect a device advertising ID.
• The Game contains no third-party advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
• We do not sell or rent any information to anyone.

How we use information

Solely to save and sync your game progress, to enable the optional level-sharing feature, and to keep the Game working. Nothing else.

Data storage and security

Data is stored on our own servers. All connections between the Game and our servers use HTTPS (encrypted transport).

Sharing of information

We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers. Levels you choose to share are visible to anyone with whom you distribute the share code. We may disclose information only if required to do so by law.

Children’s privacy

The Game is intended for a general audience (ages 13 and up). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because we do not collect names, emails, or contact details, the anonymous identifier and gameplay progress described above are the only data associated with play.

Your choices and data deletion

You can delete levels you have created from within the Game. To request deletion of the data associated with your anonymous identifier, contact us at the email below and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page.
